Hey,

Can any kind soul help write an afl for below:

10/20/30 bar Offset moving average. price should be average of High/Low and NOT closing price. Should be offset by half a period.

Offset moving average that has been adjusted forward or back in time in order to forecast trends. Offset moving averages are constructed by taking the moving average and shifting it by a number of intervals, either positive or negative. If the number is negative, the displaced moving average will lag the original moving average, and if the number is positive the displaced moving average will lead the original moving average.

Dear sir I found this AFL on Internet. The Backtesting results are too good but the Buy/Sell signal on the Chart is not generating.

Most Afl's seem good when there is an ongoing trend. But you end up paying for stop losses in sideways markets. Problem with a lot of traders is that they dont know when there is a trend and when it sideways.

I saw the afl. Think you should buy when a candle turns green and sell when it turns red. Im sure someone here will help you with a small code to find color changes when you run an exploration.

Problem is BackTesting result should be matched with the signal.

Now the signal is generating on the chart is not future based and the backtesting results not according the chart.

Now how to get accurate results in backtesting ?
