Sensex closes 75 pts up on buying in heavyweights

The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 75.13 points or 0.6 per cent to settle at 12,698.41. The S&P CNX Nifty lost 20.25 points or 0.55 pe cent at 3,677.55.
