If anyone here is using point and figure charts for Nifty, could you tell me what box size have you found appropriate, for swing trading purposes (period - 3 weeks to 3 months)?

Also, which price point have you used for starting the plotting of the 45 degree bullish support line?

Actually, I have read the e-book (and a few other books besides). I am familiar with the theory and general principles. I just wanted to know in the specific case of Nifty, for swing trading purposes, whether a box six of 25, 30 or 40 was found to be most effective.

You have to check it by applying it. Moreover, you could adjust it with the daily volatility.

I am at beginning to study point and figure chart. And now I am in trouble with three problem, please kindly help me:

1/ In principle of drawing point and figure chart, I don’t find how to draw chart if there are a “gap” in price action.

2/ sometime, I see some number or character (not O or X) in point and figure chart, lease kindly tell me what is it?

3/ in Vertical count price objective principle, the price object count as formula as below:

I check an example there are 13 box but they use 14 box in formular, please kindly tell me why they do like thay
