Nifty PCR at 0.6 indicating heavy shorts, but Nifty futures in positive would weaken only on a break below 11200.

Nifty futures open Interest stayed almost flat in the last session as no fresh positions got added. Nifty(spot) would stay weak as long as it holds below its 200DMA of 11264, near by support would be its 50DMA of 11080.

OI in BankNifty declined by -12.4% indicating wind-up of long positions. BankNifty(spot) would stay weak below 28200 levels, next support would be 27450-27400.

Nifty PCR at 0.56 indicating Nifty futures in a oversold position, if manages to hold above 11100 then by short covering 11180 possible.

Nifty futures open Interest declined by -6.1% as shorts got un-winded. Nifty(spot) bounced from its lows to settle above 11300, it has to hold above 11230 for moving towards its next resistance of 11370-11400 range.

OI in BankNifty decreased by -5.8% indicating short un-winding. BankNifty(spot) in line with Nifty bounced from its recent lows, would stay bullish above 28400 levels, would find resistance around 29000-29200.

I have been trading for long time but never traded options, now I would like to switch to options. Can you suggest any good threads where basics have been discussed in TJ? I tried searching but seems no archives are present for options.

Nifty PCR at 0.8, Nifty trend not clear at current levels, would weaken if Nifty futures breaks below 11270, till then cannot considered to be weak.

Nifty 11235(-79) BankNifty 28013(-773)

Nifty futures open Interest stayed flat in the last session as no fresh positions got added. Nifty(spot) had been closing around its 200DMA of 11269 and this would act as pivot level in the next few session, it has to hold above this level to move towards resistance of 11400, on the downside, 11090-11150 would be near by support range.

OI in BankNifty increased by +11.4% indicating addition of fresh shorts. BankNifty(spot) lost most of its previous session gains, it may weaken further if breaks and holds below 27850, on the upside, 28500 would be the resistance.
