I am starting a new thread ninjatrader basics for new traders.
main object of this is easy trading method for new traders.
main focus is on renko charts. no other trading software will give full
support to renko.
data feed is main problem.no free data available.
as far i know only two sources one tj member providing utility
second data is echarts .in .this software works well but dont expect any help from this developer.
if any other source available pls update .

adding symbols

goto tools/instrument manager

instrument manager window
here you select new
select new in middle of the screen new edit delete

INSTRUMENT EDITOR window
you have to add one by one instrument here.
this is one time difficult part.
follow carefully this step
master instrument SCRIP NAME without special characters
instrument type stock
tick size 0.0125
tick size is tricky part.it effects renko charts.
it is different for each scrips. i will give this values separately for all mcx scrips.
nse you try yourself

next select in exchanges default and nasdaq

select misc tab
paste the instrument name in replay and simulator
finally press ok

delete all symbols in left side which are not required
select the newly added instrument in right panel
add instruments by pressing left arrow.
the same way you have follow to add instruments.
this is cumbersome process but one time.

Those idiots at GFDL expect customers to run Windows XP because they only support NT 6.

I asked them why they don't support NT7 , they said NT team is not helping them, but there was a guy called Yusi and he made NT 7 work with a trading terminal.

GFDL are technically incompetent. Only thing good about them is that they are authorized by NSE.

So far not one Indian data provider gives NT 7 support. Shameful actually for a country know for IT.

many times i argued with them even after several years you could not develop a small plugin and even you try by free lancer they develop a plugin.
you pay lakhs to nse but not ready to pay thousands to free lancer.

i am requesting yusi to come out small yearly subscripton instead of giftware.
yusi kindly do this favour to new traders because ninjatrader is easy to trade.
