How can you short in Indian Markets

How do you short in Indian markets ? I know we can short intraday , but for a long term how can we short ? Is shorting allowed in Indian Equity markets ?
I have heard you can short in US/ Europe markets , but in India is that possible ?Please elaborate on this .

You can do positional short by

Selling Futures
or
Buying Puts
or
Selling Calls
