Hey everyone, I've been working on JStock and JStock Android for pass few weeks, to grab realtime feed from Google Finance. Now, we have 6 countries (US, UK, China, India, Taiwan, Singapore) run on realtime feed. The rest still run on delayed feed.

JStock is a free & open source desktop app which runs on Windows, Linux and Mac. JStock Android is a freemium product, which runs on Android.

Let me know what you all think!

Dear Yccheok

Jstock is really very good software. It will be more productive if you add MACD indicator like RSI,EMA,SMA under Technical Analysis in historical Chart. One more thing, Last candle in Historical Chart should be from Intraday Chart. Hope you will work on for this.

my only request is to add more technical analysis indicators and scans .Atleast consider adding MACD and force index.
I believe jstock can become qtstalker+ta lib for for window and android.

Sir,
I have been using JStock with great satisfaction along with android Premium version. I started complementing it with Chartnexus (particularly for its rich and configurable Charts and Indicators). Of late, I am using Fibotrader, keeping the other two as reliable support and references.

With regards,

Dear Yccheok,

How to use MACD & RSI in Stock Indicator Editor in JStock?
For example I want to see the MACD value of one counter:
1. Select Relative Stock History & change the properties to Day=1, Function=MACD, SkipDay=0, Type=LastPrice.

2. Then I go to Select Sample Data and do the simulation.

3. The program says Stock History Information Calculation In Progress..

That's it. No MACD value produced even after several hours.

Maybe I do not how to use the MACD function correctly in the Stock Indicator Editor.

Please guide.

Dear Yccheok

Jstock is really a very good and intuitive software which does away with programming or using scripts for custom indicators. It will be much more productive if you add basic functions like EMA, max, min etc. for real time stock. Request you to kindly work on this.
