first i doubled it, then trippled it from there, then lost half of it, made it double again, lost one third, and then I lost my password so I dont know how much is left there ... Go figure!

1. first thing, this is a poll/survey/ analyzing things going on.
2. your answer to the query is in the post - MFs have given 100% returns, in the past 6 months.

Yes Vijay,
This poll/thread is for everyone of us to check , whether we are in right path.
If MFs have given such returns and given the index returns, that too not in 6 months alone.
They (the top of the lot) have done it consistently over the past 3/5 years, why not appreciate them and compare with ourselves?

The markets( index) has double from 8000 to 16000 in the last six months.

1. As an investor, has your portfolio doubled from march 2009 to till date? If not, there is something seriously wrong with your analysis/portfolio.

Because money invested in any of the top 5 mutual funds would have given 100% returns.(btw, i am not a mutualfund agent/advisor )

2.As a trader, for the risk you are taking, you should have more than doubled your capital. If not think again.

If yes, then fine and continue with your exemplary skills.
If no, think again to make serious money.
