2000 pts per year i.e. approx 10 pts per session. Sounds achievable (assuming 1 lot NF traded at a time).

Futures or options or both ?? NF or BNF too ?? What is your trading capital ?

My capital is only 2 Lakh. I trade with Nifty only. Mostly intraday trading with nifty futures. I enter with 2, 4 or 6 Lots. After averaging or partial profit booking most of times my average trade size is 4 Lot.

Bought or sold Options very few times for only overnight position out of the money option. Like 5400 CE sold at 24 and bought back next day 14. I know that there was a meeting of chidu and subba at night, took a chance. Today bought 10 lot 6100 CE at Rs 2 averaged bcoz I am expecting a tech bounce. But my option trades are like tech or fundamental gamble with very small Risk. For Fun.

August series as front month started with a bang

Short with average @ 10760, 50% covered @ 10600 . . .

My initial order to cover 1/2 position was at 10560 . . . but modified it to xx600 . . . janedo . . .

I don't track co-relation between Banknifty Future & Nifty Future but the way its going i feel soon we should get a pair trade there . . .

Started this month with an expectation // target of 400 points, and . . .

On day 1 itself markets were kind to give 200+ points, got average 230 points on the short trade . . .

if BNF trades above 10550 . . . will look for re-entry on short side

if it keeps falling down then no regrets . . .

but missed this crazy upmove in BNF . . . of 200+ points . . . . anyway . . . janedo

high of this up move is showing as xx655 . . . so retrace target . . . xx555



its too early to call it a support, but by the way the bounce came at these levels . . .
xx400 should now act as strong support . . . unless . . .

Squared test short . . . 100 points . . . fun trade . . .

But could not create full short position as I had intended to do before hand, the sharp rise scared me off . . .

any way a very good day and do not plan to spoil it by taking any more trades . . .


Sold BNF AUG13 CE SP 11300 @ 105 average . . . plan to hold this till expiry. . .
Will take corrective action/protection only when BNF crosses 11000.

A classical trend day

Gap down with downwards momentum . . .further breaks down previous lows @ 9870 . . .
Sideways and weak pull back to previous support tuned new resistance . . . and again a smooth slide . . .

2 short trades, great day . . . everything in sync with Mr markets :thumb:

Yesterday's levels plotted on the chart worked so well . . .

price bounced between both the 9740 & 9870 twice . . .

could get in the long a bit late @ 9770,

but could not utilize 9870 to book or short . . . . . .

got horrendous slippage on first trade . . . . . . .

anyway again got in long exactly at 9740
