Great post nk, as usual. This verse should inspire one & all in this forum to get on with the learning & try to be successful in trading the markets. For those who think that TA and such are not for them & a waste of time, how else can one learn without doing it in the first place?
......
Thanks jaideep.

Life: Perspective View

I went to a party, Mom,
I remembered what you said,
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank some soda instead.

I really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would,
I didn't drink and drive, Mom,
Even though the others said I should.

I know I did the right thing, Mom,
I know that you were right,
Now the party's finally ending, Mom,
And everyone's driving out of sight.

As I got into my car, Mom,
I knew I'd get home in one piece,
Because of the way you raised me,
To be responsible and sweet.

I started to drive away, Mom,
But as I pulled out into the road,
The other car didn't see me, Mom,
And hit me like a load.

As I lay here on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman say,
The other guy is drunk, Mom,
And now I'm the one who will pay.

I'm lying here... I'm dying, Mom,
I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom?
My life just burst like a balloon

There's blood all around me, Mom,
And most of it is mine,
I hear the medic say, Mom,
I'll die in a short time.

I just wanted to tell you, Mom,
I swear I didn't drink,
But many others did, Mom.
The ones who didn't think.

He was probably at the party, Mom,
At the very same one as I.
The only difference between us is,
He drank, and I will die.

The guy who hit me is walking, Mom,
I don't think it's fair.
I'm lying on the pavement dying,
And all he can do is stare.

Tell my brother not to cry, Mom.
Tell Daddy to be brave

And when I go to heaven, Mom,
Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.

Someone should have told him, Mom,
Not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom,
I would still be alive.

My breath is getting shorter, Mom.
I'm becoming very scared.
It's a comfort to have you near me, Mom.
When I need you, you're always there.

I have just one last question, Mom,
Before I say good bye.
I didn't drink and drive,
So why am I the one to die?

Very touching,my friend..........and a great lesson to be learnt for those who do not understand how their actions and decisions can affect the lives of others.

Very moving Nk, very moving & touching indeed. I expect nothing less than this from you my friend. You really are doing a super job out here in this forum. Your posts all do have very earthly & human tones in them.

This post of your's does have a subtle message perhaps.......spread the word of wisdom around, don't preach to the wall or to one or two people.......sing out loud & clear, shout out from the roof-tops & even go tell it on the mountains that any vice, be it smoking, drinking et al kills all. No more the active & passive exponents of vice.

Here's something by Bob Dylan that I reckon is very apt on the subject :

Blowin' in the wind

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

...... Stanza 2 is most appropriately highlighted.

Keep 'em coming in nk. You're doing good, real good.:)

Very nice, both NKP and Jaideep

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?

"How much time one has to spend in losses
Before we can master the subject and consider ourselves bosses"
TA as a subject engrosses
But trading can be so dicey that there are constant misses
One has to know when to use TA
You can never be sure about constantly good phases
No matter how much experience you have in trend chases
Every other day you come across commandmends that remind you of Moses
You may as well back a horse in races
In contrast, for NKP and Jaideep, I have nothing but praises.

Thank you kindly Saint & sh50.

Sh50 my friend, like I've said a few times before, you violate every rule in the book as far as TRADITIONAL POETRY is concerned but what the heck! there's also something called Poetic License which allows one to express one's self in verse, never mind the rhyme, meter, et al. Your content is absolutely worth reading for it's content & your last post in verse is to say the least, great as usual. Just keep your posts coming in, in your own style of poetry if possible. Has been great reading until now for the past couple of years & surely will until kingdom-come.:)
