Not late really. We didn't have the infrastructure at that time.

In case you are not aware, India's first general election took 7 MONTHS to complete !!! The counting took another 3 months. We have come a long way since then.

We carried our rockets and missiles on bullock carts !!

But we put our first astronaut in space in 1983.

The progress has been fine in the years since independence, with all the governments putting in efforts.

Congress, TMC, DMK, BRS, BJD and other opposition parties receiving money through electoral bonds is because of love and affection
but
BJP receiving money through electoral bonds is scam
