Let us keep to the discussion and avoid personal stuff. I dont trade options in India- I plan to if- If I get the reliable date on IV,SV and greeks. Perhaps you are the India expert- let me know if you could help?

And FYI I have been trading for a decade- so if you want to talk about options and talk about specifics- go ahead let me know where I was off track in my post.

Since you have some experience in options trading in a mature market, Can you tell me whether Options trading is really worth while doing? Since options trading is a zero sum game, where one person's profit is other person's loss the chance of anyone making out standing profits over a long time is low, and if people discuss their trading plans over forums how can they expect their profits to continue if every one is copying all the successful ideas?
And going by the saying that market makers make sure to price options at level they don't run into loss its looking more like casino's where the odds are in favour of the house, Just that some profits get exchanged between traders. If this is a profession where only the top few percentile of the trading population makes all the profits from the rest of the crowd who keep changing as the losers go out and novice traders enter. Your experince will be helpful.
