day trading commodities- profitably !

Commodity market is open from morning 10 am to 11.30/11.55 pm. So what is your best timing to trade or do you watch setup the whole day.

am sorry the reply took so long.
it depends on your control and temperament. i started with 30k. now i keep roughly 50k in the account. i noticed ( this is my case , it may be different for others) that if i have more money i get an urge to overtrade and this could at times prove dangerous, so i usually take a payout once in 10-15 days. which is refreshing because for a long time it had only been pay-ins with very rare payouts.

with this capital how many lots you trade in crude intraday ?

GM Kharikumaar pls give your Templates and Indicators if possible.Your idea of trading is excellent.But i think this method monthly we get one or two chancess for each script its correct?.Thankyou

Rule is don't turn your profits into loss
I have seen traders making small profits then losing big chunk of their cash and end up into zero balance.
Control your patience and mind. Try to feel the market and have stop loss.. Yes STOP LosS. Don't overtrade if you have lost some money. Make assessment and come with plan and time to recover it. Make regular pay outs it will give confidence

sorry for the delay, hadnt logged in. i normally trade after 11 AM. the movement increases after nse/bse close and when the US markets open. i do not take any fresh positions after 9 PM since i see a lot of whipsaws then.

i trade only intraday , hence use the MIS option given by the broker, am able to take 2 lots crude and 2 lots copper/3 lots nickel easily. i try not to have too many open positions since it will lead to confusion and possible losses.
