Current Liabilities

#1
Hello Everyone.
I have gone through the Balance sheet of Balrampur Chini Mills. Under that, I have observed that the borrowings under the Current Liabilities head is Rs 86552.16 Lacs which is secured against all assets. Total Current liabilities is Rs 187163 Lacs. Total Current assets is Rs 206547.64 Lacs. The Current ratio i.e. (206547.64/187163.16) is 1.1.

My doubt is the company is considered financially strong in its segment and worth buying its share as all the assets of the company is mortgaged and the Current ratio is 1.1. Th Share has created new 52 weeks high. Annual Financial report enclosed.

Current liabilities are listed on the balance sheet and are paid from the revenue generated from the operating activities of a company. Examples of current liabilities include accounts payables, short-term debt, accrued expenses, and dividends payable.
