I already have online trading account, demat account and bank account with ICICI bank for share trading. Do I have to open a new set of accounts for commodities trading or I can use the same account.

yes i think you will have to open a new account for commodities.

U can one trading a/c for trading in shares & commodities. Pls check with your broker ICICI whether they are providing commodities in the online trading a/c. If not then u will have to open trading a/c with another broker who provides commodities trading services

i have a feeling that if ur broker is actually a bank like icici direct or hdfc securities then they cant provide commodity tradings to their customer.. m i right?
