Brokerage and intraday trading has hit me hard

Hi Guys... i am a new investor and looking to invest for long term and not intradayI was keen on ICICIDirect since I won't be doing intraday hence not a lot of issues with brokerage.What do you guys suggest.What do you guys suggest for discount brokerages.

Need your advice as I am investing for the firts time.
