How do you manage to choose scrips which give a good breakout?
Not choosing any scrips, just marking range and following them. It is not possible to predict, which scrip will give a good breakout. Just enter and have patience!

DLF gave surprise today, was expecting it to hold at support level, so covered early.

Day before yesterday, Hindalco tested my patience by not moving below my entry point about an hour.

Look at BPCL, it gave good breakout failure trade, which I missed.

Just enter at setup, place stop loss, and wait for exit point. It will either hit SL or give you good exit point.

When trend is healthy in your scrip, do not look at Nifty. Everyday there are some scrips, which make 52-week high and some, which make 52-week low irrespective of whether Nifty goes up or down. Many people either exit or lower their SL when Nifty moves opposite to their position. Watching nifty definitely makes some psychological effect on that particular trade.
