Added Nifty longs. Trigger was at 5335, but filled at 5336.7. Too much slippage. There was one trade a couple of days back that slipped by 4.5 points!! Unusual for Nifty.

Slippage is a real problem... I agree...

you could probably afford the slippage since you have 30 to 40 point stops.... so a 3 pts slippage is bad but tolerable...

Got hit in the jsw trades today. Saved by Nifty. Nifty is an old friend, but jsw is a different animal. Will need to trade it differently. Let's see tomorrow.
For tomorrow, I have decided not to have any adds on Nifty.

Usually, I add quite late. That reduces the performance. Like the last add today at 5351 was totally unnecessary. Will need to back test adds before i start using it.

Also, both of today's adds were 100% of initial position. Should have booked profit earlier.

For Nifty, I usually trade the ORB,

I keep changing the entry and exit rules. Usually, i do not use any filter for entry. Today I used a filter of around 5 points.
