sensex close...20217.
the mkts buckled under mild pressure 2day with the dec f&o series xpiry 2day amidst healthy rollovers for even the large caps 2day..........
the bse small cap index was clearly seen outperforming its peers by wide margin 2day showing that now every human on the street is ready 2 make millions in the stock mkts....
the uptrend which started from 14000 close is almost matured to 20217..........though there may b more steam left but.....invstrs ,b very very careful while picking stocks now.....greed is visible everywhere right from milkman 2 ur local paanwalas.....its like neighbours envy & owners pride...
as for the overall mkts....17875 is the key below which bulls will pack up....but those who entered late.......its a different story to tell....JUST B CAREFULL.....

Traditionally Jan and Feb are good months for the market to grow, so are you not optimistic on 21,500 Level till Budget?

nope......if u read the post carefully , u will see that its mentioned that more steam may b left.....how much ?....its dificult.....the uptrend from 14000 is more than 6000 pts old.....if a lay men wants to enter 6000 pts abv the height.....what would happen if the mkts were 2 correct from any levels....though t may rise 21 ,22 ,23 k...but the point is a fresh entry & that 2 in small caps may b dangerous...

Global decline may hit our stocks......

European markets made moderate gains last night. The US markets fell heavily on weaker economic data and the Bhutto killing. Asian markets are down sharply this morning, and the global short-term trend is down. This may cause a similar fall here today......

bulls....though on a day to day basis one cannot take a call on the mkts....here....17875 continous to b path finder.....
the BHUTTO effect certainly is not a cause for concern....its only a passing by situation as history tells us......
major effects on the mkts affects the sentiments only when the situation is worst enough to effect the EPS of large caps....
so can bhutto effect cause this turbulance.......NO....!
SO no need of panic...

WEEKLY SENSEX CLOSE- 20207
bulls....as xpected...v were under mild pressure....but overall beneath....the mood was XPLOSIVE...what with the bse small cap index registering a new life time high.........
17900.....abv this....no trouble from any asasination , attacks.......
these very fiis who r out on vacation will come 2 buy the warehoused goods from our operators.....
without proper trading strategies , life in f&o in 2008 will ruin many a small time traders ...what with sebi hell bent to make every second indian a f&o player with the introduction of mini lots ....
a gambling den of sort will become the mkts.....
remain & invest only in cos with good fundas & competetive edge over its peers.....
the small cap rally though a good one will also ruin a many whenever the ballon gets its prick....when....thats a million dollar question.......
those with a med to long term view in good cos will only survive the tides....as for the rest.....
in a casino....the losing player gets his auto rickshaw fare for returning home......

accor to the sebi data..they were net buyers 2dday to the tune of 654 crs....sensed the bhutto opportunity.....???

Sensex ends down 10pts, DLF zooms 5% ...........

Mirroring the weak trend in the global markets following the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, the Sensex opened with a negative gap of 59 points at 20,158.

Fresh buying at lower levels saw the index move into positive zone and touch a high of 20,259. The index, thereafter, exhibited lacklustre movement for the major part of the day before slipping to a low of 20,023 - down 236 points from the day's high.

Late buying saw the index move up, once again, into positive zone and finally end with a marginal loss of 10 points at 20,207.

The BSE Midcap Index rallied over 1.5% (146 points) to 9575, and the Smallcap Index surged over 2% (273 points) to 11,069.

The Realty Index soared nearly 4% to 12,551, and the Metal Index gained 2.5% at 19,948.

The market breadth was fairly positive - out of 2,953 stocks traded, 2,266 advanced, 656 declined and 31 were unchanged today........

bulls ,17900 is the stop for every dip.....

now.....for ur well being......v declare that v never entered the mkts.....but.......................the technicals gave a buy @ 14425 & r still intact without us......

bulls....the fiis r selling...right? then how come this mkt rising...?
bcause v have told several times....that mkts r mirrors & mirrors never lie..
if they r selling.....SOMEONE IS BUYING THEIR BONES...
so dont remain in the impression that only fiis will drive the mkts...
the technical setup tells us that till sensex remains abv 17875....the fiis r no match for this buying.....if they really want 2 b seen in selling...17875 will tell the whole thing....
just a fortnight ago ....invstrs were worried that fiis gonna pull the trigger , sell everything & enjoy their chritmas & leave us in lurch....

nope not hell bent on anything, just reminding all new comers viewing your thread that your calls are for those who entered at 14k, since you keep starting new thread I keep reminding...

GEOMETRIC SOFTWARE...todays bse close...88.90 IS A BUY technically with a closing stop of 80/-.......after remaining in dumps from 130 levels.......technicals suggest that it is ripe for a med term upmove.....
buy few now & add more on declines....
only a sustained close below 80 will alter our bullish outlook..
