Zerodha working on trading platform with charting software

V. SAJEEV KUMAR
KOCHI, JULY 23:
Zerodha, the Bangalore-based online trading platform, is in the process of introducing a new trading platform with advanced charting software. This would enable technical analysis and back-testing strategies before making a trade.

The idea is to provide a platform of international standards similar to that available in the US and Europe. None of the online trading platforms in India have such features, Nithin Kamath, Founder and CEO, Zerodha, said.

In an interaction with Business Line, he said the new trading platform would be ready by the year-and and would be available free of cost to subscribers.

Happy Diwali to all....

Dear Zerodha,

Another issue with Nest Trader, displaying wrong pivot, resistance and support on charts. I have noticed this every Saturday and occasionally other days. I am attaching here with the screenshot from Nest trader and ODIN for your reference. Please advise on what is happening with Nest trader. Now I need to have ODIN also open with duplicate charts to check the authenticity of data displayed which is really annoying. Please advise.

Still waiting for an answer to this issue : http://www.traderji.com/brokers-trading-platforms/89121-zerodha-part-3-a-118.html#post890748

Both issues; copy send to [email protected].

Thanks & Regards,
Ajit
If there is server maintenance running on Saturday, data typically might be wrong. But have forwarded this query to the tech team.

zerodha
many thanks for the new trading platform with advanced charting software
i have a suggestion if you have developed a plugin to connect amibroker or other softwares to your trading and charting software it is a relief for the zerodha clients that they now give extra amount to buy run time data from data vendors

Two questions.

But firstly, that span calculator is a great tool indeed. Your trading tools and Nithin's lucid blogs have greatly helped many in understanding the available trading instruments in which they otherwise would not even have dared to dabble in. Like for example many traders stay away from Futures, despite they are in the market for long, 'cos they lack the knowledge about it (words like margin etc. works as a scarecrow for 'em, sort of headache not worth taking), they consider it a high risk, they think these instruments are only for deep pocket players. So, please keep this great initiative going :)

Coming to the questions. First, can the CO option be used for selling (writing) Nifty lots as well? If yes(!) then what margin does one need to have to trade it? Any leverage you give for it?

Second, my chart is showing the time in 24-hour format. I did nothing, it started showing time in this manner on its own a few days back. What I have to do to make it show the time in 12-hour format again? I am using Ztrader.

Thanks
