India Focused Monthly Technical Analysis Journal

Hi,

Am looking for your opinion and feedback on a proposed Monthly Publication that is India Focused and for Technical Anlaysts and Technical Traders. It will be a free entitlement to the Members of the Association of Technical Market Analysts on one hand, yet be available to non-members at a decent price on the other hand.

The intention is to achieve a quality of content and physical attributes of a standard no lesser than the Technical Analysis of S&C magazine. It will be outsourced to a very good publication house for production.

Please click on the choices of the attached poll so that with a decent sample size of opinions expressed we can try to incorporate the wisdom of a wide user-group.

Have A Few Suggestions For You & Your Team To Look Into & It's Feasibility

1) CD Or DVD Of Freebies Along With The Magazine Similar To Chip & Digit(Demo/Trial Software & Codes & Etc.)
2) With Above Included Price Shouldn't Be Such An Issue.
3) Another Feature Could Be 'Trader Of The Month'

Now Coming To The 'Association'

There're Lots Of Points That Come To My Mind Will Try & Put Them As Soon As Soon As I Get My Bearings....

Instead of publishing it as a monthly, make it fortnightly. A smaller volume with good data would be much more useful IMO.

Yes sure, thats the idea. To bring credit to the profession and share learning with anyone keen on obtaining it.

What do you suggest should be the process of ensuring credibility and how would you define credibility. Your thoughts can be valuable in shaping up this initiative a priori.

This perception needs to be changed, it will be. By the way are you in the credible range or in the quiet money making range?

The idea is not to create a publication that will give out trade recommendations or market views. The idea is that rather than give a meal for a day, give a recipe for a life-time.

Have you not been reading the Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities?

But, the thoughts that are around are going to be useful in shaping up things. Let them keep coming.

Yes, its a real need and better if it can be distributed in Electronic format as one can reasonably expect that those who are interested in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities would have Net connection and it will also save cost.
Cost can further be reduced through accepting Ads from Brokerage Houses etc. as in Stocks and Commodities magazine.

Its a difficult question to answer, rather would not have a straight forward answer to it, it can only be debated and outcome may be "hung jury"!!!
If the focus is on "educating" and "guiding" the reader to reach his own decisions based on TA then the role of TA experts is reduced to some extent and the worry whether an Expert is credible or not will also be less!!

The Publication must have appropriate Sections for different levels of Readers having different levels of TA knowledge.
