Comparison of Charts Software:
I have taken ICICI daily chart from MetaStock showing the 200DMA, 100 DMA and 50DMA. All these DMA are simple ones.(see attched files)
When I have compared MS with the another chart software I found a lot of difference in displaying the simple DMA. You can easily spot the difference.
200DMA blue color
100 DMA Black color
50DMA Red color
You can see that in August 2008 100DMA is less then the 50DMA (MS chart) . While another chart is showing 100 DMA more than 50DMA.
Similarly, you can see that the 100DMA and 200 DMA (in MS) is topping in the month of March 08 and is much above 50DMA. While other chart is showing 200DMA less than 50 and 100DMA.
please, guide me if i am doing something wrong.
