These are Freely given in this Forum since few months.

One of the method of Back Test which Simulates 200/500 types for each past trade to create an actual Mkt enviourment artificially.Acknowledged world over as being one of the best back test method.

To one humble learner of this forum :=
The following code has helped me in past.(Though presently i dont use this one) Tweak this as per your requirements,i used to see the 3rd or 4th Top / Bottom,with breaking Trendline of this indicator ,with zero line penetration. "Market - Efficiency - Ratio" .................................................. .......8......................................... {Market Efficiency Ratio} pds:= Input("Periods",3,200,8); Speed:= C - Ref(C, -pds); Volatility:= Sum(Abs(C - Ref(C, -1)),pds); Efficiency:= Speed / Volatility; MER:= Mov(Mov(Efficiency, 5,E),3,E); MER; 0; .................................................. ......8.......................... This is for Metastock If you develop something interesting plz. keep us posted.

hi asish da, I have Metastock 9 version. I have pasted the formula given by u in indicator builder but neither it opened in new window nor i know wht to do.
I am not very well versed with meta ..... I appriciate if u help me out of this in step by step manner( may be i am asking for spoon feeding ... but plz...) chintan
