Hello Folks:

My name is Subash and I am a new trader. I would like to ask all you folks with a lot of expertise if anyone uses technical indicators for trading?

From some research done on the net, there seems to be a school of thought that says that Indicators and such can be used effectively for trading with a bit of practice. But apparently the software comes with a hefty costs.

What are your thoughts on this? Would appreciate some straight answers from the folks who have the depth and experience.

Thanking you in advance

Regards
Subash

Hello Subash:

Welcome. You are in the right place. Traderji has wealth of information and there are many experts, who are in this fied chip in lots of useful and technical information.

I am a Technical trader. I trade purely on what I see on the chart and my analysis. Technical Analysis, combined with Candlestick charting is extremely powerful.

If you want to learn technical analysis, the internet has wealth of information. I can suggest http://stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school and http://www.incrediblecharts.com/.

You don't have spend a lot of money on the software. There are lots of software available free of cost. Although I have some paid software, I am using one of the Free software that even provides live data.

All the best and Happy trading !!

Regards,

Vasudevan
