Need guidance for knowing Transfer of physical stocks.
I have some shares in physical form.
They are jointly owned by me and my mother.
she wants to transfer share's ownership entirely in my name.
I have filled up the share transfer form dated 16 june 2009.
Now I have following queries :-
1) what charges will be incurred for transferring them?
2) is there any legal paper work (like stamp duty registration, etc.other than original share certificates and share transfer form) involved in the transfer of these shares?
3) where/whom should I send the related documents to? (respective shares Company or Bombay stock Exchange)
4) how many days it will take to complete the entrie proceedure?
