Default Sharing the trading technique

Hello friends

Sharing a trading technique for all of the friends in traderji.com. The method is very simple and not a new concept. I am sharing it as because I have married this technique.

My first lesson in technical analysis was "GO BY TREND". I use this technique both in short term (upto intraday) and long term trade.

At first I planned to share a video of live trading (in intraday) adopting this technique. The file size becomes so big to share and will be very difficult to download the same by the friends.

So, I prepared a power point presentation showing the basic features of it. If u permit me, other features can be uploaded time to time.

I request my friends to upload ur trading technique with which u have become married, so that we the others can be benefited from ur technique.

Regards.

Satyajit

Hi,

Thanks for sharing your technique. I used trend lines alone to trade successfully. May be it is better than indicator systems. But the trouble is in identifying the troughs/peaks to draw the trend line as the trend progresses.

Regards.

Dear Satyajit

One of the most simple method of trading system you have narrated here. Indeed I am seeing you trading this (you said u have married to the system) system since we met 5 years back through net. I will be much obliged if you periodically post your charts of identified stocks open for members to observe & experience.

Regards

Thanx Satyajit da for sharing your second wife to traderji friends. The Trendline method which you have told us as many times we met personally.
In my point of view the main advantage of this method is "Very Small Stoploss" with a great sucess rate.
Thanx once again.

How do you draw resistance lines in this method? Or do you use a pre-determined formula?

Sir, Have never traded as pertrendlines....Thanks for showing a simple method. Have to study a number of charts historically and live to be able to judge whether or not the Methodology suits my trading style.
All said and done one cannot deny your helping attitude to share which in general is a rare comoodity in Traders though seems to be a "common trait" in seniors here on Traderji!!!! Keep it up friends and seniors.

Have a few questions about trendline :
In ABB chart the line drawn from June 2006 to beyond August 2007 is shown as major trend where as the trendline drawn from June 2006 to December 2006 is shown as Minor or secondary trendline.
Would it be correct to say that :
The Trendline from June to Dec 2006 was THE MAJOR TRENDLINE fromed in August 2006.
The Trendline (major) from june 2006 to aug 2007 came into existance only after the low in March 2007 was formed.
During Dec 2006 the Treendline (at that time major trendilne) was breached and weexited the Longs, but again the Trendline was breached on upside, do we go long again and get stopped.
Though it is very clear that in trending market it is giving stupendous runs and small SL but to understand the methodolgy do kinly give some more inputs.
As the trendline from June 2006 to dec 2006 is breached, do we draw a down trendline!!! Becoz till the price stopped southward journey in March 2007 we did not know that a Fresh MAJOR trendline is formed and price is taking support on it. Till then the price was in downtrend for us.
Kindly reply as if to an absolutely raw person in TA.....I am a newbie as far as TA is concerned though associated with Stocks for long.
Thanks and regards
Gautam

Mam, Nice to see help and assistance all around. Expect more inputs with a few charts to explain things to morons like us. The initial reaction is that there is a lot of subjectivity in the method, may be i am totally wrong and not understanding the process fully or have wrongly understood the concept. Have posted my doubts above and request you and others to kindly educate us.
Regards
Gautam
