What are TSQ and TBQ columns ?

Hi Everybody,

What are TSQ and TBQ columns on a trading terminal ??? I assumed them to be total-buy-quantity and total-sell-quantity but I am not sure, moreover how do we use these fields to our trading benefit ? I think there must be some indicators that can be drawn from these columns ?

Only ,"Trade Station" has a facility for this TBQ & TSQ ,as i am being told,but you need a Good Data vendor for it.

you are pretty much right, tsq and tbq is very essential to understand the game of supply-demand and to place your limt order. It is so powerful that you may rule out all the indicators and trade with only tsq and tbq.

TSQ and TBQ stand for total sellers quotient and total buyers quotent.
In a non-volatile stock if the TSQ > TBQ then sellers exceed the buyers and so prices are likely to fall. Go short.Similarly vice-versa.

In a volatile stock where tsq and tbq change in a fraction of seconds you may not use the values of tsq,tbq but use the rate of change of tsq and tbq. If tsq>tbq but tsq is declining and tbq is advancing then go long.

TBQ----Total Buy Quantity
TSQ----Total Sell Quantity

Do not rely too much on these values because often they are misleading.
