Aadhar card - problem getting one.. any other problems ?

Went for Aadhar registration today. Got thrown out, come back after 15 days they said. Rub vaseline on your fingers for 15 days.

You see, they couldn't read my fingerprints. So, no fingerprints, no registration. What if the same problem happens after 15 days ?? If their scanner can't read my fingerprints, then what ?

Heck, 25 years of keyboarding seems to have eroded the lines on my fingers.

What to do ? Do I register as "differently abled" ??

Have you guys done your Aadhar registration ? Did you face any problems (apart from the amount of time spent on it) ?? Do you know of others who have faced problems?
Any problems after registering? or after receiving the Aadhar card ?

Why don't you try in some other booth if any ? That machine may work for you.

The enrollment was done within just 2 min but I am waiting to get Aadhar Card from more than 2 years now. . . :rofl:

My Uncle and Aunt went on the same day for registering.
Aunt got her card , Uncle is still waiting from 3 years.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The catch is that you cannot apply twice for the card if you had applied earlier.

took only 2min to get my finger print and eye scan,my mom got 2 copies of same card by postal , subsidy thru bank is a good idea but, who knows the future, if they slowly cut down?

Govt has already directed gas companies to take Aadhar information for providing subsidy. I applied for it 8 months ago and got it only last week.

I think not even 20% of the people have the card...First they should issue the card to all.

Aadhar card subsidy introduced in rajsthan first( many more; but got to know only rajsthan). People reduced to buy specific pre decided quantity of kerosene oil after direct subsidy to their account. Few months it goes well where in a monthly quantity comes to actual quantity( people buy kerosene oil when they needed), govt reduced supply as actual. But after months supply comes to actual no and subsidy also not credit to people account. Problem? No money, no supply?? Total failure But ironically after that aadhar made compulsory for everything. SC made it optional so another thousand core scheme goes to failure but it is confirmed there will be negligible subsidy and tax penalty may be, only FM know how he play......

I have still not applied for Aadhar Card and now after reading your problem , I will first have to buy Vaseline .

Twice gathered courage to apply but after seeing the number of people standing in line came back .

This subsidy thing is a gimmick for appeasing the Western powers and showing them that no subsidy is being given in our country. A very typical move this is to regulate the oil & gas sector with a more bias towards bigger monetary rewards for few powerful lobbies.
