Dear All,
I have recently joined this group & has been watching this group regularly. I am extremely happy to see trader helping another trader in many ways. I need your help in perusing my objective. My objective is to catch 10 points in Nifty future on daily basis. In any day Nifty future movement is 3 to many times the movement I am interested in. What kind of analysis I should be looking for?? Any practicle approcahes/suggestions would help me a lot. Best Regards Suresh ![]() |

Brokerage will be killing
If u pay 0.03% brokerage Assuming u shorted Nifty Ftrs @3400 Brkerage on sell will be: 3400*100*.03%=102 add to it 12.25% servce tax tht will be further Rs 12.4 Total brokerage on Sell side =114.4 NOw say u covered the short @3390 Brokerage will be 3390*100*0.03%*112.25%=114.03 Total brokerage will be 228.43 Net gain before STT 10*100=1000 less brokerage of RS 228.43 which is 771.5 All this on a margin of rupees 40000 I think its better to go for swing trading than looking for 10 points a day |

Dear All
,Thanks for your reply. I am sorry I could not reply sooner than this. Yea I agree with some of your comments... BTW... I have some A class shares & I use them for margin. So the margin capital is not a problem. I intend to hold them for long term (1 year). Then I pay total brokerage at 0.04% (All inclusive). I am looking forward to trade 10 lots at a time. Currently trading 5 lots at a time. Suppose if I can catch ~1.5 points minimum I can come out at no loss no gain. Minimum I try for 4.5 points where as I aspire for 10 points. So I am looking for your feedback on type of analysis required, type of charts to be used, type of indicators to be seen etc?? Best Regards Suresh ![]() |

Hi All,
Today it looks like the market is going to go below the current low of 3372.30 in Nifty futures. What do you say |

Follow the trend - don't try to predict markets as they never follow predictions :-)
