following a mechnical system

after 2 year in market. i started to following trend following system. i worked on them few months. i worked on money mangement and decided to follow them. yes some time system whispow but we have to follow it for good returns. belive me its not easy to earn money in market. emotionless trading works. wait and hold profit long
time and cut ur losses early thats the way u can earn. so i am showing my trades here. every trade i make i will post here. right now i am short in banknifty fut at 10930 from 16.5.2011 still in trade.

still holding short postion. will wait till buy signal come from system. total profit till now in trade is 9540 excluding brokerage.

BNF, as per my system seems to be at crucial levels.. trading on the verge of Support and Resistance!!

i do not follow support and resistance. i follow combination of some systems which gives me buy & sell signal. i do not follow target and stop loss. when system gives me new signal i exit and reverse the postion. i am always in trade. as per my system nifty has now in buy mode and banknifty is in sell mode. i have combined multiple of systems but most of them are trend following. banknifty is +153 points now. i am still in short. may be today i will exit from short and come to buy side. lets hope so. waiting for signals..

Okay! I too follow a system where I am always in trade. But my mind set does not allow me to be in trade without a SL, it may be deep but a SL is always there, hence my query about your SL. In my system NF was sell now turned to Long > 5510 BNF was sell and will turn Long at > 10750.

as per mine nifty turned to long at 5476. some trend following systems showing buy signal to banknifty also but i trade on candle closing base. so waiting for candle to complete for confirmation. i do not enter stoploss in system but i keep eye on market every day. as i work in share market.

How much do you charge for your system?

NF was long above Todays opening high, which matches with the level mentioned by you. However the 10 AM high was ~ 5490 and as I use a larger filter when opening bar is in question and also near a round figure like 5400 5500 etc. I too am full time in markeet but feel comfy only when a SL is in place. When one follows a certain TF, he must wait for the relevant candle to close.

i worked in reputed trading firm. but i trade from other broker so i dont get much time to put orders. so i dont put stoploss. i put stoploss for nifty that is 1% but for banknifty i had bad exerience for stoploss so i wait for new signal. most of my trades are postional. around 45 trades in 8 months. thank u for ur interest in this thread. as i saw some threads created by u. u seem to be much more experienced than me. :thumb:

i am not here for selling anything. i have not created any system. i worked on lots of afl and picked some of them. combined them together edited some of them according to my criteria. i watch some of trend following system everyday. after all system is not much important. u can earn with simple ema
system also. money managment is holy grail :thumb:
