Hi All,
I have a query about reliance Acquire today sell tomorrow ( ATST) trading option.
For example: I buy shares of xyz company under option ATST today.
For normal routine you need to sell the same shares tomorrow. My query is if I don't sell tomorrow then what will happen? 2) Suppose tomorrow market is down and I don't want to sell then can I convert ( square off) same amount of shares into delivery ?
3) can I convert them into margin ( for day trading) on the same day of purchase if i want to sell them on the intraday?
4) what will be the brokerage charges in this case?
Rgds,

Re: ATST Relinace query

You can simply buy shares in delivery option and it will show in ATST projection for next two days, if that scrip is under ATST of RM. You can sell the same from ATST projection. Normal brokerage 1 paise will be charged. If you do not square up the position that thirday day it will be showing in your Demat Balance that means it has come in your demat account. Further please note that if you sell the share from demat account and square up the same it will remain in your demat and you can save demat charges of Rs.12 per scrip. As such there is no difference in brokerage for for intra day, ATST and delivery. You can square up the ATST buy without converting into Margin by selling the same simply that much quantity of shares or from Today's projection.

Re: ATST Relinace query

I know delivery shares goes into ATST projection and there I cna square off ( sell) them.
if I square off them then I need to do fresh buy of the same no. of shares.. ( Am I right ?)
My earlier query was : if I use ATST option while buying the shares.. what will happen? I am not talking about ATST projection..
Remember under trade option there are 3 suboptions 1) delivery 2) margin 3) ATST..
I am talking about buying with considering the third option ..
Please clearify myy earlier queries regarding this?
with rgds,

Hope you

Rgds,
1: Nothing happens, atst becomes normal delivery.
2: No need to convert, ATST is early delivery.
3: You don't need to convert to margin. it will be treated as Margin (intraday trade)only.
4. Same intraday brokerage for case 3)

only you'll lose the "Delivery Limit" in your limit card.

1: Yes you have to buy fresh in delivery. (this will cause a day's delay, as your previous ATST is delivered to someone else (i.e., you sold), and you'll get delivery a day late.. your ATST/Delivery might not show the bought shares for 2 days because of this ATST selling and buying on the same day.)

2: buying in ATST is not allowed in Reliancemoney. but in Religare you can buy in ATST to square-off your ATST sell transaction. leading to proper delivery on the first bought delivery shares as expected.

Re: ATST Relinace query

I do not understand what is the fun in buying ATST option only? You are required to pay whole amount for buying shares in ATST option then why one should not buy in delivery and sell the same any time after that.

Good Question, should you not ask that to RelianceMoney Relations Manager? Also ask why is "ATST sell" is NOT shown in Today's Position for squaring-off?

I tried buying in ATST for my sold shares. The system did take the order but did not show the order in "Order Book."

ATST sell is what RM is intending I think.
