Default Open letter to all Bears !

of late i find a lot of doom sayers in traderji , just one simple question can anyone kindly also post their logic(let charts do all the talking) behind such bearishness ... its very easy to get carried away when the market keeps going down , as is the case on the way up aswell ... i keep hearing targets of 3700 , 3800 on the nifty when even the uptrend in the weekly which started in 2006 has not been broken (this tl might be broken on monday but the point is it has not broken yet) ..also i heard someone in CNBC GIVING FOUR DIGIT targets for sensex.
One more question ,where was the bearishnesses of you guys in the first half of jan08 ?...when you dont have to ability to identify an impending crash how come you guys suddenly have to ability to set levels for nifty and sensex ?.
Enc. nifty weekly and hourly

Later on, I was not able to update because my upload quota got exausted.

Been shorting all the way US financials for sometime . Somebody predicting right does not make him a great trader, there is 50-50 chance of getting right or wrong. Follow the trend and keep stop losses and that raises the odds - just my 2c. However, You can say for sure it is very bad now.
Also good idea to short something really ugly -may be not Indian indexes.

The problem i have found while Drawing Trendlines are broadly 2 types.
a) Whether to take Log or Semi-Log or Arithmatic Scale.
b) Whether to draw from Close or Low.
Hence i thought of keeping the Errors constant & coded the same.
1)The attached chart of Nifty Fut wkly ,with TL.
2) The attached chart of Nifty Fut Mnthly ,with TL & Fib.

2 more charts of Nifty Fut monthly are attached :=
1) With another type TL with Support.
2) A Nifty Fut Mnthly upto 28th Sept '07 ,showing that 'Lakshman Rekha' told us then about 4429 (it has gone out of my mind).

asish,

actually i have taken the weekly low to connect TLs..... the steepest curve 4 has been broken while curve 1,2 and 3 are still intact ...having said that we have still not broken curve 3 which is the point iam trying to make and yes 3750 to 3800 is the level to watch once this curve is taken out but only if that curve is taken out...
