MetaStock NSE Data downloader with VIX

It's a one click NSE data downloader and it can also download India VIX data in metastock format.

NEW VERSION
P.S. (30Aug): Attached (NSE BSE EOD Data Downloader _30AUG08.zip) find another updated version that downloads Futures EOD data (of current, next and far series) for NIFTY, MINIFTY and BANKNIFTY.

You'd get the data in following format and it's fully compatible to MetaStock 9 & 10. I guess AmiBroker also support the format.

Update 02/09/08
An updated version is now available to download. Some of the bug fixed:
- "Holiday" bug fixed; (Thanks to member : darsh_goswami)
- "404 error in NSE futures data server" fixed to some extent. NSE "futures data" server is dog slow. Oftentimes, user may experience 404 (when downloading monthly/weekly data. Please retry after some time.
- Old versions are discontinued.

after downloading new version of getbhav v1.2 i have been facing huge problem the new version only allowing me to download data till 30june2008 its already 2july today and i cant download the data of 1july and 2july. The date setting of my pc is quite ok

its working xtalk.. gr8t work..... thanks for this... just want to know.. the nifty volume provided by ur utility is very for today.. but in realty it was not the case... the nifty volume data is differnet then the one provided by kmtushar... why it is the case..

Thanks for your comments. I just checked the 03JUL2008.txt file and found that volumes of NIFTY and NIFTYJUNIOR identical to NSE web site. Here it goes...

However, in Metastock the volume values were tad different (+/-3). Also, I'm unable to manually edit the volume data. I have also checked past records and similar problem do exist. Pls let me know, if you or anyone else facing such problem. Is it a bug in MS9? Pls verify.

rajesh n, Pls make sure you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed. You'll get it from Windows Update or search in Google.
