how much do you expect?

Today while retunning from a seminar heard two people talking about trading.

Dont think they actually knew what they were talking abt but by the way they were talking abt traders was as if we are professional assasins or hired hitmen who rob people.

Though one point they disscussed ....made me think...What are our expectations out of mkts? how much percent gain is considered good?

By my understanding anythig above 20 % consistently is the sign of a good trader. BY 20percent i mean on the whole capital not on leverage. Just curious.

It depends if your bread and butter is trading, then 20% is nt sufficient..
Example: even if yr trading capital is 50L then 20% is 10L barely enough for a family to survive.
i think you mean per year....other wise i think very good.20% per month:)
