Intraday Trading Using Gann Calculator

lets discuss our trading everyday here based on gann calculator after market hours

for todays intraday trading using gann calculator on nifty futures..the opening high and low were 6138 and 6112.30 respectively..lets put 6112.30 in the gann box..v got sell below 6103.50.. for 1st target of 6087..our entry failed to trigger by 0.50 points..market made a low of 6104..we entered at around 1.21 p.m..nifty broke 6104 and made low of 6094..our intial stoplos is 6123..HERE WHERE I MODIFY TRADING SYSTEM..as v have a new low of 6094 i put this number in the gann box..v got sell below 6084 and stoploss is 6103.50(which is our entry)..i use this step to minimize our stoploss..nifty after making low of 6094 (which remained day low) nifty rose upto 6103.50..v stopped at cost to cost(ofcourse _5points brokerage+stt)..but v bought nifty at 6103.50..(stoploss for this is 6084) for a ist target of 6120 and 2nd target of 6139(new day high..old high was 6138)..again v put this number in gann box v got sell below 6123..thats where v booked full..so total profit of 6120+61239+6123=6127.35...profit of 24 points..then v again shorted nifty at 6123(stoploss is new high 6141) for a target of 6106..market closed at 6106//another profit of 17 points..TOTAL PROFIT OF AROUND 32 POINTS..ANY MODIFICATIONS FOR THIS STYLE OF TRADING ..MOST WELCOME

SORRY MATE..dont use this modification as it has more chance of gettin whipsawed..instead of puttin wap in the calc u can put the open high or loe depending on the condition of the market..for eg. today nifty futures high was 6089.80 and low 6072.30..now we put 6089.80 in the box v got buy above 6103.50..the day high remained at 6101.95..our buy didnt trigger at al..now v put the low 6072.30 in the box v got sell below 6063.50 stoplos is 6084..sell triggerd around 12.14 pm and made low of 6060..NOW THIS IS WEHERE I TOLD U NOT TO MODIFY..IF V HAD PUT HTAT NEW LOW OF 6060 IN THE BOX V WOULD HAVE GOT BUY ABOVE 6064.50 WHICH MEANS V WOULD HAVE EXITED OUR SHORT AND ENTERED FRESH LONG ULTIMATELY WOULD HAVE RESULTED IN HUGE LOSS..SO V STAY SHORT AT 6064.50 KEEPIG A STOP OF 6084..market threatend to trigger our stop going upto 6078.70 after touching 6060..but after that it was blood bath..all our targets reached at 2.40 pm..nifty futures made low of 6005..SO MY ADVICE TO ALL SAFE TRADERS..DONT TRADE BETWEEN THE HIGH AND LOW..ONLY TRADE BREAKOUTS..ENTER HIGH AND LOW IN THE GANN BOX AND RIDE THE MARKET.. NOT WAP/MOVING AVERAGES OR SOME OTHER PRICES

lets discuss our trading here at the end of day(gann calculator users )..huhhhh today..what an xpiry?55 points fall in 5minutes..our day begin like this..nifty october had high of 6048.70 and low of 6030.30 at 9.16 a.m..so lets put 6030.30 in box v got sell below 6035.90..immediately v entered short at 9.34 a.m..1st target was 6006.50..now see the effect of xpiry or volatality at its level best..nifty made a low of 6008.65..jus 2 points away from our target..god knows how many might have pulled their hair here bcoz..it remained the day low till 3p.m..stoploss for this trade was 6045..but as the nifty almost reached its target v square offthis trade cost to cost at 6025(like trailing stop)..as ihave earlier said in my post v trade only breakouts..now our next number is 6048.70 in the box which gave buy above 6064.65..so we go long only above 6064.65..market did xctly same at 1.51 pm..1st target is 6084..stoploss is 6064.65..now again xpiry effect+full proof of volatality...nifty made high of 6083.90..jusssss 0.10 points away from target..again same way like our first trade(short at 6025) v exited this at cost to cost considering it has achieved its 1st target and same trailing stoploss effect..huhh..bumpy ride right?now our 3rd trade..now v go long only above 6083.90..put day low(6008.65)in gann box v got sell below 6006.50 for a target of 5987.15 and stoploss of 6025..market jus fell like a heap of cards from its day high of 6083.90 at 2.43 pm and reached 5977 at 3.05 pm..finally v had one profitable trade..v exited 1/3 of our position at 5987 and trailins stop of 6006 for rest of our position..didnt get triggered..v closed full at market close..so end of day our trade is like this
short at 6025.90=cover full at 6025.90=-5 points
long at 6084=cover ful at 6084=-5 points
short at 6006=cover at 5987+5985=20 points(-5points brokerage+taxes)=15 points
total profit of (-5)+(-5)+15=5 points
NOT BAD ON EXPIRY DAY.. RIGHT GUYS?

today nifty futures trading according to gann went like this..at 9.16 niftyfutures was trading at its low of 6030.60..now v put this n gann(dont bother to calculate wap,atp n al)v got SELL BELOW 6025.90..WHICH GOT TRIGGERED AT 9.21..IST TARGET 6006.50..2ND TARGET WAS 5987.15..touched low of 5992.60..trailing stopt ot 1strgt of 6006.50..triggered..so v exit full at 6006.50..profit of 19 points.. opening high between nifty and mininifty futures was big..nifty futures high was 6054 and mininifty was 6080..so v take a common high 6038.70-6040 which wasmade at 9.18a.m..now if v put both these numbers in gann v got BUY ABOVE 6045.25..now our day low of 5992.60 in gann gave SELL BELOW 5987.15...triggered around 1.49 p.m..ist target of5967.75 achieved within minutes..but price hardly stayed there..it was gettin support by 2.16pm(when icici bank was making news)it jus shot up..so v exit full around 5977..again 3rd trade of theday comin up..our buy above 6045.25 triggered around 3.07 p.m(i didnt even get 1 lot as price jus jumped from 6039 to 6059)..target of 6064.65 acheived in 2mins..v exit full here bcoz its already 3.15 p.m and not much time left..so another profoit of 19 points..so altogether 19+15+19=53 points..long live gann calculator

in the middle of trading session..boring day for market even though a rise of morethan 100 points..trade accorrding to gann square went like this..nifty futures open high was 6128..put this in gann box..v hot buy above 6142.90..buy triggered at 10.10 a.m for a ist trgt of 6162.50..stoploss is 6123.25..went down til 6126.35..then touched our target of at 11.34 a.m..we wait 3 mins for the price to sustain this level but in vain..v exit ful at around 6157..our next buy is only above 6182..its already 3 p.m..i dont think so this ul trigger..i closing my terminal with profot of around 11 points..bye
