My current investment is Rs 1.5 lakhs. I can get my brokerage reduced further if my total investment is Rs 2 lakhs. So what if I deposit Rs 50,000 more & withdraw it after like 2 weeks?
My broker is sharekhan & obviously they don't check everybody's total investment daily. So will the system automatically charge me higher brokerage after I withdraw? or I can still reap the benefits?

If you maintain some volumes for a few months, after than i think it would not matter. In the case of trading in futures it can be done easily (in the preocess of trading) but for equities it becomes difficult. May thats why pple go for prepaid plans like 6k etc.compared to locking in capital brought temporarily.

But my broker didn't mention any conditon about in terms of brokerage, here its only in terms of capital invested.
If that is capital invested then it must be avg amount invested whole mth and nowadays its software work when it tells u are less then required it would deduct penalty w/o ur knowledge with charges or brokerrage:)
