Who are these guys outside BSE

I had some work at my friends office which is near the Bombay stock exchange, there I saw many guys on the opposite footpath staring for a long time at the big screen of Zee news attached above the exchange building.

Can someone tell me who are these people and why were they staring at the screen for a long time. If they are traders shouldn't they be in front of a computer terminal?

Yes , i want to know this. Everytime i watch TV, i used to see people standing outside the BSE.

They were long term investors.As soon as market opens, they will assemble in front of the exchange.

They will look at the shares they invested rose by 1 rs or 50p or 25 p.

Next time when you meet them,ask them to learn TA and not to watch the fools who were giving recommendation on tv.

They are/were as it's known in the west - tape readers. Their breed has become almost extinct. If we wipe dust from the ancient history of speculation, we'll find many famous ones from this category.
