When is brokerage charged in ICICI Direct Intraday?

Hey guys,

I've traded today and made a profit of something like 191 INR.

It took me 8 transactions in margin to get this.

This was my first trading day ever.

No brokerage has been charged on this amount yet.

I wanna know what is going to be charged. Is it going to be charged on each of those 8? or on the whole?

My god... 8 trades... on icici direct.... now they'll want the keys to ur car as selling the house wont cover their brokerage expenses. :lol:

They are like Jack-the-ripper of the brokerage world.

It doesn't matter because it was my first day, I don't care if I lose 100 bucks but I want to know that I'm losing it.

Ok, I figured out how much they charged me, man you were right.

I made 191.xx in profit and they charged me a brokerage of 194.xx.

I'm on the hunt for other brokers, although I'll still keep using this, this is too much.

Any idea how much they'll charge me for today? I made 1325 in profit today.

If you are in iSecure plan the it is 0.55% for Higher of buy/sell - [Only for intraday].

I tried day trading with ICICI Direct and in 2 days I realized that, @ 0.55% they are eating all the profit.

Looking for a better brokerage plan with some other broker house, Any recommendations?

ICICIDirect is for investors not for scalpers or intraday traders.

@The Mask, did you trade in the margin segment? 0.55% is only for cash segment, in case of margin trading(margin plus included) I've written it below,

More than 30k, they charge 0.050%
Less than 30k, they charge 2.5% or INR 15 whichever is lower.

I wanna know of the best broker for day trading, any recommendations?
