What is Pre-Opening & How to trade it ?

I see CNBC anouncing pre-opening at 9:00 AM daily & showing prices but nothing on my NOW terminal & 5 Paisa terminal.

Can someone please explain what the heck are they talking about & who is trading pre-opening & how are they trading it ?

Also how can retail traders like us trade this pre-open & if not why not ?
