For Buy Countdown, the condition is close is less than equal to low of two bars earlier.

If the count down is not continuous, then should the previous second bar be part of the countdown or just the immediate previous second bar?

example: when countdown is not continuous, that is if there are bars between CD3 and CD4 not taking part of countdown then, should close of CD4 be less than equal to low of CD2 or just the immediate previous second bar (which is not part of countdown) before CD4.

Thanks
Close of CD4 should be less than equal to low immediately 2bars earlier.
Just that.

Once the 9 min setup bars are done, the set up does not end there...it continues till we get a flip bar and the length of the set up is from low to high of the bar sequence which followed the relationship.

What u guys understand by sts statement. Is the first flip a set up here now?? That sounds more convincing. as 9 and 13 appears to me as just numbers Some kind of flip at a known resistance after an extended move would that be a good entry?.
If the setup criteria continue to hold after 9th bar say uptill bar 12, then a flip occurs our setup count is terminated at bar 12.
Now one application could be that the true high/low you would want to use for SL placement would consider this entire 12bar setup instead of 9.
Another inference could be the original move was an extended one i.e. extended down move (in a buy set up).

So the length of the set up is calculated from true low(high) to high(low) from 1 st set up bar to 11th set up bar ( 12th being the flip bar). The length of the setup becomes important when we get multiple setups and we have to decide which set up we have to use for starting the count down.

Taking example of buy set up, would this flip bar (12) be marked as bar 1 of next sell setup by the AFL (TDST afl shared by you)

Yes, 12th bar or a flip bar will be marked as 1st bar of ( likely) sell setup.

After the appearance of flip bar, buy set up can be traded,if it was perfect, right sir?

Yes as the buy set up is complete.we can start counting buy countdown from the 9th bar of buy setup provided the intersection has been done on 8th or 9th bar of buy set up.Flip is only 1st bar of likely sell set up which may or may not complete 9 sell set up bars and after 2-3 bars, the downmove resumes leading to buy CD.

Putting a plug on further queries, to let this new information sink.
Thanks.

I've vaguely read about bearish or bullish flip, is it a very strong signal to depend on? Especially if it is against the current trend?
A flip would basically signal following things:
1. Signal an end of current setup; which may have completed with 9 or more bars
Or
Would interrupt an emerging setup.
2.Atleast a temporary change in market sentiment.
3.This flip bar is the first bar of the opposite setup, will be marked as 1 by AFL.
