SIP is one of the worst products pushed by the mutual fund industry... Unzip the attached file into a folder and execute sip.exe for the results...in a DOS window... You could do this by executing cmd in start >> run...
2 Options may be given to do a sip between dates...
These have to be as in the example below:
sip 20030427 20081027
Here 2003 is Year
04 signifies April
27 is the date of SIP...

BTW when u unzip sip.zip it will have 2 files.
1. sip.exe
2. table.csv with data from the BSE since 2nd Jan, 1991... This is updated till 21st November, 2008... Well I did down load sensex data thanks to the excel sheet posted under a different topic and hence pasting this tool here...
