didnt expect we will see 4500 after seeing 4200....

The price gaps are scary, i could have held on but in case things go against me, i wont be able to exit.
look at the price gaps of the last 5 pending orders:

buy orders gap: 750,700,680,675,625
sell order gap : 810,815,839,840,890

I wish 2 know what is the implecation if we sell CE-Oct-4800/5000 & buy CE-Sep-4800/5000 instead of PE u have quote. Plz clarify. Thanks in adv..
Its just a directional call... Next month option wont decay as fast as current month, hence we play for the difference in premium. If u go for CE instead of PE it just means you are bearish.

Hope you are fine. Did you stop trading that strategy or are you still using it.

It is a good thread and I am just wondering what happen to it.

Wish you all the best

I trade this and other options strategy actively. Depending on the scenario, strategy changes. More the variety of arrows in the quiver, better is the risk management.
