Use PSAR to find the exit points. If you are short take upper cut to candle as exit and if you are long use under cut to candle as exit. Hope this helps. For day trading you need to estimate the PSAR.

In what time frame do we refer to PSAR ...eod or weekly etc.charts or intrady charts..say hourly or 30 minutes

PSAR wil be helpful if taken for yearly.

You can adjust PSAR according to your risk taking appetite.
