For last couple of days I am observing that there is huge difference in opening price of some scrip on NSE and BSE. opening prices of certain scrips are very wide on NSE. If you see intraday chart scrips seems to be never traded.
e.g. for 30th september
Lloyd electrical and engineering- NSE-45, 52.95,45.00, 51.80
BSE-52.70, 53,51.40,51.65
Petronet- NSE- 84.90, 84.90, 77.80, 79
BSE- 77.95, 80.75, 77.95, 79
is the problem due to difference in way the BSE and NSE calculates opening price? or what?
now this faulty opening price affects the Technical analysis, especially when exploring the security based on some criteria.
This way NSE EOD data creates nuisance.
