Please share some motivation for logging trades

Dear traders,

How do you motivate yourself to log each trade with screen shots and detailed analysis?

I was too lazy to log each trade. Paid dearly today.
Exceeded risk by 2.5%. Lost all gains.

Kindly advise.

For day trading, there simply isn't enough time to take notes. Once you enter a trade, you are busy looking at the screen, the price movement.

So maybe just take a screenshot, save it quickly, and later on after the trade add notes to it.

keep a hard book. write down in it time of trade, entry price, sl and set up name if any. once you are done with yr profit tgt for the trade write down remarks if any in max 2-3 lines. this is the log i am keeping. after mkt i take the screen shot of my chart of whole day and put my notes on it and save it.

I just take screenshot of the intraday graphs and write brief note about what gone right or wrong...
