nse-india.com showing wrong price of stock.

Hi , see the pic posted below of prices of SBI stock on the nseindia.

It says that the high price is = 1898 , also i checkd bseindia, there i see high = 1843,

there is not so much difference between prices on bse n nse, thats one thing

and secondly , plz also take time to check the chart of SBI at nseindia, there i dnt even see the 1898 level at anytime of day.


How is this 1898 high price of SBI is quotted there?
Isnt this a big error ?

The time (11:53) is very peculiar. Yesterday 07-09-09, at around 11:51, Nifty showed a value of 4680.40

Today, there were glitches as well at near 14:35 hrs. TCS showed 569, CANBK showed 294, RELCAPITAL @ 931.

Conclusion: It is no freak trade; just a database glitch.

Different prices and volumes on different exchanges is quite normal. That is why, you may have observed, when they quote share prices, they always mention the exchange. Ex: "The stocks of ABC company closed 1.2% higher at Rs. 73 on BSE".
