I think its not necessary. sometimes entry is within 1st 15 min.
have a look at tamo chart today. gave long entry around 10.30, I think, if held until 3pm, more than 10 rs movt. caught.

Both those trades r morning setups only. Have a look atsome old data and identify these setups in charts it will give u a clear idea.

this is 12 jan 2016 tata motors chart..If I put tsl at pivot high1..sl will take off..if i put it on 2, it will not go away..on 3 also it will go away..
pivot high 1 is lower Ph..so should we not put it on lower ph..but it makes new low..so its valid PH also
same with 3 ..it also makes new low..but it will go away..many times this happened & took my sl & move continues..so where to put tsl , so i can take a big part of move even not whole move

Vijkris look at ur post 505 all stocks that has almagamation in daily 60 and 15 mims.and if u had traded it today in 3 or 5 mins .what wouldhave been the probababilities and returns.

I have already said we cant always catch the whole big move.if ur sl gets hit move on to the next trade. Ull always get days like yesterday in nifty but not every trade.that is y adds and profit booking is important.

Hi vijkris
I dont knwo about cash chart..i have Tata motors-F chart...Its not Failure of ydy low & Vpl failure setup..as no candel break yday low
It has IDF opening trade setup..where yday visual down & we gap up in range..so we should long when first let the visual pivot of today form ..which form at 9:30 candel & we enter on that Vph break..which happens at 10:30..

I have just one month historical charts of scrips.
i do have NIFTY & banknifty chart..will see on those..this setup is very rare..in nifty, It comes very few times in one month..will watch more..
the charts I posted..is my entry & exit rules are correct?

keep a list of 10 to 15 good volume scrips like nifty bnf tatamo tatasteel rcap rinfra axis bank jsw steel sunpharma and others see in them.
