The volume in that bar was 250K. Maybe someone had a huge buy market order there which got triggered and filled at whatever available price.

Maybe we ought to check the components of Banknifty for the price movement at that time, because banknifty spot also shows a huge range at that time.

Just tossing this up for everybody's opinion. In Tick charts you can zero down to the exact trade so was just curious, how to play this info and if it is of any significance.

Varunji I dont think anyone would be shorting with such huge lots...amount required would be too much ...

So effectively till this volume is in the system shorts are out of the equation but if he has sold it in a staggered manner then tomorrow being Expiry anything can happen. But i still feel that we might have made a short term bottom at 23400. Just my opinion.
