I am also a very old investor/trader of Motilal. I trade regularly with them. They have their ups and down but at least they have disciplined approach.

They only give recommendations in stock which are fundamentally good. Hence even when I am stuck in their calls because I do not follow stop loss, the price eventually comes. The issue is that they do not have wide coverage in Mid-caps.

Strange feeling i get about the markets.they went down after the european crises!

See here ,even the same thing got repeated yesterday!
The Indian markets once again mimicked the global markets that witnessed a terrific bounce back. The Sensex wiped out quite a bit of its Tuesday losses and closed up 365.36 points at 16,387.84. The Nifty crossed the 4,900-mark to close at 4,917.4, up 110.65 points.

Hello Sir,

I am new to share trading and require your guidance and advice. I feel that I should have a sole vendor/service provider for all my investment needs. Hence I have opened SB with HDFC bank, with DEMAT facility. I have also opted for their Investment service to purchase Mutual Funds online. My trading account is with HDFC securities. I am not a big volume investor, and does not require a very advanced trading terminal. I work in Bank and I have round the clock access to high speed internet. However, I feel that brokerage charges with HDFC are slightly higher. Should I continue with them or should I go for some other service provider? I wish to avail for equity research advice from Motilal Oswal. Do they provide only such consultancy services? I may not wish to subscribe to their full services. Please guide me on this!

Regards to you all.
