i want to talk about activequant .to visualize this software you need platform eclipse .here you can download it first.http://www.eclipse.org/downloads.
after you will try to follow installation step by in this link .for windows and mac if you want.http://www.activestocks.de/?q=wiki/installation.
you need also to add in your fiwewall for example zonealarm www.eclipse.org.than you can download activequant in the platform eclipse.

Thanks for ur effort which could help open source users and who are using operating system rather than windows.It will useful if you post how to use these softwares and upload nse data into it.

And it will be useful if you help me in regards of eclipse trader which i found very useful among all.

hello trillian.
first thank s to read me.but in the same i try to take risk to be in this fiels because i am always learning but as turtle i try to open way to fell all people can participate.
i agree that eclipsetrader is more easy to use and you can download data from yahoo for example it is easy to add index and so on.but my purpose is to use as new tool eclipse as platform.and now there is big conference about this platform.and you can try to follow this paltform in http://live.eclipse.org/.
but neverless now i try to focus to show you how to use this platform with activestock software.
to try to see there is people want to participate with me.i don't want to lead this subject.about system i use windows.but i want to switch to Run Mac OS X on a PC.

you must to concentrate little to familiarize first with this software.
